We have a strict recruitment process which includes application form, interview, satisfactory references and DBS. All our staff have been recruited because they share our values.  We will search for people who are compassionate, creative, flexible and enthusiastic with a passion for the provision of person centred care.

 

Staff Induction

 

The All Wales Induction Framework is overseen by the manager who is also an assessor for Quality Care Framework. Before being allocated any clients of their own, staff will shadow an experienced staff member until they are comfortable and competent and we are assured that they have adopted our values.

Supervision & Support

 

Regular supervision is an important part of any quality care service. We have an honest and open relationship between care staff and management ensuring positive outcomes for clients.

 

Staff can discuss any care issues, training requirements and career aspirations with their supervisor who is able to feed back on areas of progress or where improvements can be made.

 

 

Training

 

Staff are encouraged to undertake QCF qualifications. We have an ongoing training programme that provides staff with the skills and knowledge to provide quality person centred care.  This includes core and specialist training tailored to meet the specific needs of individual clients or groups of clients such as dementia care, autism, mental health awareness, including specific conditions.
